A global pandemic has not stopped us!

Inspire held their very first Autumn Challenge Cup which was an in-house competition for all of our squad gymnasts. As our gymnasts have missed many competitions due to the pandemic, we wanted to give them all something to work towards and look forward too.
In the weeks before the competition there was plenty of preperation to do where the gymnasts worked extremely hard to be ready to compete their best skills. We had brand new floor routines made, new skills learnt and competed, new tumble runs, personal achievements smashed and most of all the gymnasts had a lot of fun in the lead up to the Autumn Challenge Cup.

Our club competition was held over two days, one day for our tumble competitors and the other for our apparatus competitors. We had various levels of tumblers flying down the track showing off what they do best! Combinations of flicks, somersaults, cartwheels, round offs and jumps. As well as apparatus gymnasts flying through the air on the floor and around the bars and of course being sassy on floor showing off their best routines.

The coaches and gymnasts all did an amazing job in making sure all health and safety regulations such as social distancing were still being adhered to throughout the duration of both competitions.

Not only did we hold the club competition we also asked all gymnasts to create their own autumn themed name board. We had some excellent entries and some very creative ones too. It was certainly hard to choose the winning gymnasts for each round!

We absolutely loved seeing all of our gymnasts competing again, it has been far too long! They did Inspire proud and we can’t wait for the next challenge cup!
