How do I put my child on the waiting list?

How long can I expect to be on the waiting list? 
We regularly review our classes to ensure empty spaces are filled to ensure we can get everyone a place as soon as possible. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
How much do the classes cost 
Reception & year 1 classes are 1 hour a week - £27.00 / Month 
 
Year 2 onwards are 1 hour 15 mins a week - £32.50 / Month 
What does my child wear to Gymnastics? 
For your child’s first sessions, all they need to wear is, gym shorts/leggings a t-shirt or a leotard. 
2 peice outfits such as crop tops are not permitted for training. 
Please make sure hair is tied back and out of the face. 
Can my child wear earrings? 
All earrings and jewellery must be removed by the start of the session, to comply with BG insurance requirements and ensure a safe environment. If earing studs cannot be removed, surgical tape must be placed over them before coming in to gym. 
Can I watch my child whilst they are in gym? 
We have a small viewing area with a window, which can be accessed via the stairs. It is on the left hand side next to the kitchen.  
 
 
 
Are your coaches qualified? 
All staff are qualified to British Gymnastics recognised standards with all Coaches to a minimum of Level 1. There will always be a Level 2 (or above) coach in charge in the gym. 
 
All senior staff are qualified in First Aid and undertake regular Safeguarding and Protecting Children training through approved training providers. 
What is your ratio of coach to gymnast? 
We apply a ratio of 1:8 except for your Reception and Year 1 classes where we apply a 1:6 ratio. 
Are all staff DBS checked? 
It is a requirement by British Gymnastics that all staff have a current Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check. We ensure all our staff have current DBS certificates. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Can I drop my child off and pick them up from the car park? 
Parents are reminded that the Academy does not assume duty of care for a participant until they are registered into their class; with this in mind please do not leave your child unaccompanied before the start of their class. 
 
Participants must not leave the premises without their parents/guardians and should remain with the coaches in the gym at the end of their session until collected. 
What are the office opening hours? 
Monday 1:30 - 6:30pm 
Tuesday 10:30 - 4:00pm 
Wednesday 2:00 - 8:00pm 
Thursday 10:30 - 4:00pm 
Friday 3:00 - 9:00pm

Do you offer holiday clubs? 
We do offering holiday clubs every school holiday with the exception of Christmas. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Are your classes insured? 
Yes, once your child has joined our club you will be instructed to register them with British Gymnastics. The is an annual membership, which is transferable between clubs.
